Case Analysis
This snow globe case, themed around The Ritz - Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, unfolds from demand docking, design and production to final manufacturing. Throughout the process, it focuses on accurately restoring the architectural features and meeting the customer's quality requirements.
In the design phase, multiple rounds of effect diagram adjustments, especially the increase in the number of trees, make the scene inside the snow globe more realistic and vibrant, reflecting the control over details. In the sample production stage, the coloring effect is repeatedly optimized to ensure that the building colors match the actual ones, demonstrating a high pursuit of quality. The gift box proofing also undergoes multiple modifications. From the appearance to the compatibility with the snow globe, every effort is made to achieve perfection, enhancing the overall delicacy and brand tone of the product. During the entire process, the customer has a high degree of participation. From the effect diagram to the sample and then to the gift box, repeated confirmations and feedback ensure that the final product meets expectations. Production Process
Demand and Material Collection: On May 13th, pictures of The Ritz - Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach were received from the customer, and the requirement to make a snow globe was clarified. Meanwhile, the snow globe production process (first drawing, then printing samples, and finally coloring to make the finished product) was attached for reference.
Drawing Preparation: On June 24th, the customer provided photos of the building from various angles, and the factory was arranged to start the drawing work accordingly.
Design and Confirmation of Effect Diagrams: On July 7th, the first effect diagram was produced for the customer's confirmation. After two modifications during this period, the third effect diagram with an increased number of trees was approved by the customer on July 30th.
Sample Production and Optimization: On July 31st, the color number for coloring was communicated with the customer.On August 15th, the initial semi - finished sample was produced. On August 19th, adjustments were made according to the customer's requirements for color improvement, and the picture of the sample after the second improvement was confirmed by the customer on August 26th. On September 2nd, the finished snow globe pictures were sent to the customer for confirmation.
Gift Box Proofing and Confirmation: On September 13th, the first gift box proofing was initiated, and the first proofed gift box was sent to the customer for confirmation on September 25th. On October 8th, the effect diagram of the box after the second modification was sent, and on October 9th, the customer confirmed the box and the snow globe, and mass production began.
